We can consider your application only if you meet all the criteria. iClassifier, in collaboration with the Optical Diagnostics Group (ODG) at the University of Alberta and MITACS Canada, is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join our R&D team in the area of electronics and signal processing. The successful candidate is expected to start ASAP and will conduct industry-related research in smart agricultural product system design and development. The candidate should have experience in electronic circuit design, data transfer from devices to computer systems, and signal processing. Experience with Embedded system design, image processing and working with Linux servers would be an asset. Candidate Profile: The position requires a self-starting researcher with a proven record of accomplishments in the required fields. The candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work and lead in both a team-oriented environment or as an individual. Skills and Requirements:

Eligibility: The applicant should be within 4 years of their PhD graduation date and must be legally entitled to work in Canada according to the relevant provincial and Federal legislation and regulations. Other Notes: This position is full-time and requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. The term of employment is 1 year, with the possibility of a 1-year extension and full-time employment (depending on performance). The successful candidate must be present in Edmonton, AB, on the starting date. Pay: $60k annually ($45-50k stipend + $10-15k research expenses).
