Job Description The Department of Chemistry at Université Laval is inviting applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in the field of chemistry high-level technical expertise, strengthens the scope of its work, and makes a tangible contribution to scientific, economic, and social progress. All applications proposing a research theme in the field of chemistry will be considered. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level in French and establishing a high-level research program in their field of specialization. Hiring and treatment Conditions The salary and benefits are determined by the current collective agreement between professors and the university. Additional information Since Université Laval is a French-language institution, the successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemistry in French within a maximum of three years from the start date. New professors whose first language is not French receive institutional support to help them attain the level of language proficiency required for their duties.
