Career Opportunities (sapsf.com) General Purpose The Urolith lab, Microscopy Services, provides analysis of the composition of veterinary uroliths for client veterinarians to aid in the long-term treatment of the affected animal. Duties and Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for: receiving, organizing and preparing uroliths for analysis; scheduling incoming submissions to ensure stated turn-around times are met; accurately analyzing the chemical composition of uroliths using a variety of microscopic methods combined with case history data; reporting results to clients via electronic methods within client-defined deadlines; entering results into LIMS; responding to client inquiries; and, ensuring specimens are properly and safety filed, stored, disposed of and will operate laboratory equipment according to established standard operating procedures.
