The Faculty’s Information Technology (FIT) office provides the technological vision and leadership for the development and implementation of information systems, processes, and associated technology to support Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering academic mission and administrative operations. The Faculty IT (FIT) office works closely with academic departments across the Faculty to provide timely, quality service and technological solutions. Your opportunity: As a highly motivated member of the Faculty IT team, you will be leading technical design and implementation of Faculty-wide applications and workflow capabilities, providing enablement and automation of business processes based on assessment of stakeholder needs. You will actively participate in all stages of the product life cycle including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, production monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support in alignment with industry best practices and in compliance with University policies, standards, and requirements. In this role you will also provide technical leadership, application expertise, and support to other technical staff, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. The incumbent operates with a "one team" mindset, contributing to solutions and supporting colleagues in addressing complex issues that affect Faculty-wide systems and services.
